I honestly can’t find the right words to describe this amazing couple. On My 26th, Shannon and Brad got married at the beautiful Hinnant Vineyard on what turned out to be a gorgeous day. You all might remember them from their engagement photos or even Shannon’s bridal photos. I have really gotten to know these two throughout their wedding process and can honestly say that I feel so touched to have been present at such a big event in their lives. Not only are Shannon and Brad a fun and kind couple, but they are the kind of people who seem like they are up for anything. I was thrilled to see all the intimate touches that Shannon told me about prior to the big day – instead of a unity candle ceremony, they had a time capsule ceremony of sorts, they also had personalized koozies, and even ‘I DO’ in blue on the bottom of Shannon’s shoes. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Shannon and Brad, I wish you both all the happiness in the world!
These are the kinds of touches I’m talking about – individual clutches for each bridesmaid – yes please!
Shannon and Brad did a sort of time capsule where they put a bottle of wine and love notes in this wooden box with their names and wedding date on it. In ten years on their anniversary, they will be opening this box and drink the wine and read the notes. I absolutely love this idea and plan on making Patrick do the same
I absolutely adore Shannon. Not only did she decide to do a dress change in the middle of the reception but she is an awesome dancer!
As is her new hubby – I was absolutely amazed when he did this and so thrilled that I managed to get it on camera!
